New Benefit Eyebrow Products! Review & Demo Application

Please tell me I'm not the only one obsessed with eyebrows right now? I few years ago I didn't even bother filling them in and now I can't leave the house without my brows on. I totally blame Kylie Jenner.

Anyway, Benefit have unveiled their biggest launch yet and have totally revamped their brow collection. Not only have they given four of their best-sellers a makeover, they've also launched six brand new products.

Watch the video above for my opinion of the products along with a demo of how I apply each one.

(By the way, neither the video nor this post are sponsored by Benefit. I just really like eyebrow products!)

The video gives more detailed reviews, but here's a quick line about each one...

New products:

Ka-BROW!, £18.50 (Six shades)
A cream-gel with a little brush enclosed in the lid. Good for thick, dramatic brows.

Precisely, My Brow Pencil, £18.50 (Six shades)
A pencil with a teeny tiny nib for ultra defined brows. Allows you to create a sharp arch and tail.

Goof Proof Brow Pencil, £18.50 (Six shades)
Firstly, best name ever! Very easy to apply, gives natural, full-looking brows. Nib is wider at the bottom to fill in sparse areas, and pointed at the top for use in smaller areas.

Browvo! Conditioning Primer, £21.50 (Transparent)
Contains keratin and soy proteins to help brows look thicker. Designed to be worn under your usual brow makeup as a primer to help the colour last longer. Still testing this one out - will report back! (Update: This hasn't done much for my brows unfortunately!)

Ready, Set, Brow!, £18.50 (Transparent)
Setting gel, very good at holding brows in place. One side of the brush has short bristles to shape brows, the other has longer bristles to coat hairs quickly.

3D BROWtones, £18.50 (Two shades: Light & Medium)
Gives subtle 'highlights' to enhance brows and add dimension. I think of it more as just a tinted brow gel.

Existing products that have been given a facelift:

Brow Zings, £24.50 (Six shades)
Ah, good old Brow Zings! The powder-wax duo now comes in six shades instead of three. I've always loved this product.

Gimme Brow, £18.50 (Three shades)
One of my all-time favourite Benefit products. It's a tinted gel that contains tiny microfibres to make your brows look a bit thicker (it doesn't do anything overly dramatic but does give them a bit of oomph!). There's now a new medium shade.

High Brow & High Brow Glow, £17.50 each
Creamy highlighting pencils that you draw under your brow to highlight. High Brow is a pale matte pink while High Brow Glow is a luminous champagne (you can see the difference between the two colours in the video).

The products launch on 24 June, and my top picks would be Ka-BROW!, Goof Proof Brow Pencil, and Ready Set Brow!, along with the ol' faithfuls Gimme Brow and Brow Zings.

Which products have you got your eye on?

  15. My brows are quite full so I don't really need to fill them in but I do like to tame them. I really like the Anastasia clear brow gel for that purpose. I haven't tried any of the Benefit brow products but I know that my mum like the Gimme Brow Gel.
