Carving Cheekbones with Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit

If you watched my What I Got For Christmas video, you will have seen I was super excited to receive the Anastasia Contour Kit. I had been lusting after it for a long time after hearing Kylie Jenner credits it for her killer cheekbones, and it totally lives up to the hype - I love it!

You get two matte highlight shades; Vanilla, a fair peach, and Banana, a pale yellow. You also get a shimmery highlight called Sand, and three matte contour colours (L-R) Java, Fawn and Havana.

In the above photo I used Fawn in the hollow of my cheeks, it's a perfect contour colour for fair-skinned gals, with the more warm-toned Havana dusted over the tops of my cheekbones as a bronzer. I also used Sand as a highlighter, which gives a beautiful subtle glimmer, and dusted Banana under my eyes to set my concealer and counteract any darkness. I've been so impressed with everything I've tried from ABH recently (see my post on the Anastasia Self-Made Eyeshadow Palette here), and this little kit is another gem!

What's your favourite contour product?

  1. I really want to try some Anastasia Beverly Hills products, and, even though I am not a huge contour girl I believe this palette would be perfect for beginners like me!

  5. I love this palette, it's one of my favourites for both myself and clients, love that the products is buildable so you can create a soft contour or something a little dramatic and glamorous for a night out! Yet to try the cream contour palette as I usually use MAC's concealer palettes for a cream contour. Powder formulas feel so much lighter on the skin though which I love!

  6. I've tried this palette before and absolutely loved it! I don't spend much time contouring though so I haven't taken the plunge in purchasing yet, but it's definitely on my list!

  7. I usually just do a bit of light contouring with either my Nars Laguna bronzer or my Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette. Your cheeks look so nice and defined here though, honestly I think you might have the nicest looking skin I've ever seen! Your makeup is always flawless as well.
